We are pleased to announce that Barcelona Packaging Hub’s technology partners will be participating in Advanced Factories, the annual must-attend event for industry leaders. Advanced Factories brings together industry experts looking to stay at the forefront of innovations that are transforming production lines in areas such as industrial automation, robotics and digital manufacturing. The next edition will take place from April 18-20, 2023, at the Fira Barcelona – Gran Via exhibition center.

What technology solutions will Hub partners present at Advanced Factories?
In this context, our technology partners will be present at the event, presenting their most outstanding technological solutions, as well as sharing their know-how and experience with industry professionals.
B&R, automation and robotics specialist, will present its technology at the Advanced Factories show to help machine builders adapt to the needs of the present and future. On booth D436, B&R will be demonstrating the ACOPOS 6D performing product transport tasks for code reading through a Smart Camera. This demonstration allows the validation of identification, position and product traceability by reading codes typical of industries as demanding as the pharmaceutical industry.
For its part, Copadata will present at booth AF2023 a modular production solution that offers multiple cross-industry advantages. Among them, modularization enables a high innovation capacity and a 40% reduction in production costs, as well as allowing a 50% shortening of the time to launch and maximum flexibility in the use of the plant.
HepcoMotion, linear motion expert, will exhibit industrial automation products at booth 6B257. The featured product is Hepco’s GFX Agile guideway system, a faster and lighter variant, ideal for lightweight applications looking to achieve more parts per minute. Our partner will also present self-adjusting carriages, which allow for easy mounting on the slides.
On the other hand, Schneider Electric will present at booth 6C404 two technological solutions at Advanced Factories: Lexium MC12 Multicarrier, an automation technology for packaging production that allows to control each stage of the process and produce multiple product variants on a single line; and Lexium Cobot, a complete offer of 5 collaborative robots that improve the efficiency and quality of the work of operators and are integrated with automation architectures.
