In all cases, flexible packaging ideal for transporting in backpacks or bags throughout the day, keeping the product’s properties intact until the moment of consumption. Furthermore, as it has a cap, the container can be closed if it is not consumed in its entirety. Finally, as it is made from recyclable materials, it is an environmentally friendly container.
Ultra Clean technology
One of Barcelona Packaging Hub’s partners, Effytec, incorporates Ultra Clean technology. Thanks to this, the packaging of the product is carried out under hygienic conditions, including film and valves, achieving a logarithmic microbacterial reduction inside the packaging of up to Log5. Depending on the characteristics of the product, distribution chain and other conditions, it would be possible to guarantee a longer shelf life, reducing or even eliminating all preservatives.
In addition, it works with laminar flow, certified by an external and international laboratory. The dosing area and inner side of the film must be kept clean through the pressurised laminar flow and HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters that maintain a slight overpressure in those areas, compared to the external air. The laminar flow is designed according to GMP, FDA as well as European standards and requirements.
